Welcome Back to School!

We are excited to welcome students back to the start of new school year.  Happy New Year!

Families are welcome to join our new student orientation on Monday, September 5. The orientation is designed for our Middle Years Program and Grade 9 - 12 learners. See details >> HERE for more information. This will be a fantastic time to welcome all our new students, as they transition from our Family of Schools in the Slocan Valley and other schools and communities outside of our local neighborhood.  Students will get oriented with the school, find their classrooms and ask any questions that they may have before startup on September 6.

All students will be in the building for classes on Tuesday, September 6, which is a half day. Busses will be running three hours early.

One the first day of school, we will be have a school wide assembly to welcome everyone back and to share important start-up information for a successful start to the year. Parents can expect information to come home about school fees, permission forms and course change information starting on Wednesday.

We have made some changes to our daily schedule and the timetable structure. This was necessary to align our scheduling structure to match teacher preparation time requirements.  We will explain the changes to students this week, with the goal that they will in turn be able to explain it to you.  More information will also be available on our website.
