Our school district is a registered CRA non-profit entity and will issue tax receipts for donations over $25.00. That means your investment will have a positive community impact, create long-term support for students, and provide economic benefits to your organization.
What Does My Sponsorship Pay For?
Your sponsorship goes toward one of nine film kits we are putting together for students this year. Each film kit includes a 6k cinema camera, lenses, mobile lighting and audio kits, tripods, boom poles, and all the other accessories to turn each student group into a mobile film studio. Throughout the school year, students have access to these kits to participate in digital media projects.
Why Are Film Kits Needed?
To hone their filmmaking skills, students need access to industry standard equipment that meets broadcast and streaming platform requirements, so their films are limited only by their own drive and storytelling. Making films is expensive, and there is no substitute for hands-on experience with the right equipment so students graduate from Academy PM ready for post-secondary education or a job in the field of their choice.
